Aching
She walks away,
tears streaking her face,
she can taste their saltiness,
Her heart has been pierced,
the emptiness is scraping at her soul,
as his words echo in her head.
His face is imprinted in her mind,
his deceitful eyes were dreary,
the pain in them is burning,
Her hands tremble as she quietly sobs,
As he passes me by
Unnoticed
And my heart can't help but feel what his heart feels for another
Once again I am
Unnoticed
Unnoticed by he who holds the key to my heart
But is too blind to see
What happiness it could bring him
His soft touch and gentle embrace is something I shall never feel
I will never look into his eyes and see my reflection deep in his soul
Only 14 years old and still he has control over my thoughts and dreams
He will never know this, I am afraid
Afraid to admit my true feelings
Afraid not to be
Unnoticed.
